CPAC had taken up Social Audit of perhaps the oldest school of AP.. The School as on today is known as PCR High School located in the heart of Chittoor City..
Our team(10 persons) had entered the school premises around 9 30 am 7th July 2016 and the audit lasted till 2 pm. The Headmistress of the school Smt .G.Meenakshi is very cooperative and patient enough to explain,show the records and present the facts and circumstances about the school.
The Social Audit team is also allowed to move around the entire premises,take photos,interact with teachers and students as well. Several positive aspects of the School have been identified which are highly appreciable and needs further more encouragement.
So also,on the negative side there are lots of issues which needs immediate addressing..
We are presenting to the general public of Chittoor a detailed report together with photos, making every citizen understand as to why the government schools are looked down upon and at the same time private schools appearing rosy and attractive..
